    ABSA

    Our helpful guide can assist you to approve your DebiCheck mandate with ABSA through mobile and online banking as well as USSD.

    Banking app

    1. Log into the official ABSA banking app (Android | iOS).
    2. To access pending mandates, visit the home page, click your profile picture, or on the home page, under the menu, click “DebiCheck Debit Orders”.
    3. Next, click “Authorisations” to view all pending debit orders.
    4. Click Approve or Reject to be presented with the “Terms of Use”.
    5. You will have to agree to terms to see the mandate’s details.
    6. Choose the approve option to be presented with SureCheck security authorization.
    7. Accept SureCheck.

    Online banking

    1. You will receive an SMS from ABSA requesting you to action a pending mandate.
    2. Log in to ABSA Internet Banking.
    3. Under the payments tab, click “Authentications” and click the DebiCheck menu.
    4. Select the mandate you want to view.
    5. Select “Approve/Reject with reason” and click next.
    6. When prompted, enter your SureCheck verification to confirm the mandate.
    7. A confirmation SMS will be sent to the registered number from ABSA.

    USSD

    1. You will receive an SMS from ABSA requesting you to action a pending mandate.
    2. Dial 120 2272# to be presented with a login screen.
    3. Enter your pin and click send and A menu will appear.
    4. Enter the option next to “DebiCheck Debit Ordered-Selected PIN” and click send.
    5. Enter the mandate option and click send.
    6. Go through the mandate terms using the “Page Next” function.
    7. Approve or Reject the mandate.
    8. Enter your choice and click send.
    9. A confirmation will be displayed A confirmation SMS will be sent to the registered number from ABSA.
